2020 President – Belal Salih
Hi Law Students! I am your 2020 President, Belal Salih.
Welcome to the AULSS website. Here, you will be able to find out more about who we (the AULSS) are, access society documents (including meeting reports, minutes and agendas), as well as and stay up to date with our most recent publications. I hope you find what we provide useful!
As President, I act as the official representative of AULSS in public matters, while upholding the objectives and purposes of the Society. More information about the AULSS’s purpose and objectives can be found on our constitution here. As the undergraduate student representative on the Law School Board, I strive to act in the best interest of the student body by voicing your concerns and raising student-lead initiatives to those who would otherwise be unaware. I am also responsible for making sure the AULSS is adhering to its Constitution and complying with any applicable Commonwealth or State laws. To save the best for last, I have the pleasure of coordinating the Committee and Executive on an internal level to make sure the AULSS is providing its students with the best opportunities possible.
The AULSS provides an excellent avenue for increasing involvement with the Adelaide Law School during your studies, and is a wonderful chance to meet lots of new people and learn an endless range of skills. The variety of activities, events and initiatives we run mean that you can participate in areas that appeal to your OWN interests, whether this be academic competitions or social events, the AULSS has something for everyone!
If you have any questions, concerns, or just want to have a friendly chat, please get in touch with me at email@example.com.
2020 Vice President – Behshid Golshani
Hi Law Students! I am your 2020 Vice President, Behshid Golshani.
My job as Vice President is to ensure that all of the AULSS’ admin finances are in order so that all of our beloved events, initiatives and publications can happen and run as smoothly as can be! I also am tasked with the role of organising our much-adored AULSS merchandise and Law School Local initiative (coming soon in Semester 2!). Yet, the most fun and rewarding part of my job is undoubtedly that I get the opportunity to connect with all of you and help in any capacity that I can. As a result of COVID-19, our normal operations have unfortunately slowed. However, this has in no way affected my commitment to assist Law Students in any way possible.
My line of communication is always open to inquiries, so please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
